On the desk today we have a diff built with an ARB for a customer. We are posting this up in response to the phone calls we have received in reference to a tread on Discoweb about loose ringbolts.
First and foremost, every diff that Lucky8 has ever built has red lock tight on the ringbolts. Rest assured if you have one of our diffs the ring bolts will not be an issue.
In addition to the lock tight here is a list of extra things that we do to ensure the best performance for your diff.
New Timken bearings.
New OEM pinion seal
New 12. 9 Allen head bolts on the caps
New Case harden washers on the caps
And Yes Lock tight on the headwear!
