On the desk today, we have a Front Detroit Trutrac Differential. Ever wonder what one looks like taken apart? We took this one apart to do the rear to front conversion. You can see the side and worm gears which allow both the differentiation in speeds of the wheels as you make corners, and also allow for the torque to be transferred from the pinion to the axle shafts.
