We set off from Buffalo on Wednesday morning headed to Virginia. Erik led the way in his DII followed by myself and Rover Dog in the slow-ass cube van with my Disco in tow. Ten hours later we arrived at The Cove as guests of the infamous Dan C. He, along with his lovely lady Tami, welcomed us and our friends John W. from Rover Specialties, and Gustaf K. from arlFOUR. We spent the evening around a fire swapping stories while enjoying some chicken wings and beer. We set off bright and early the following morning headed for MAR.

**A quick side note: I wish we had had time to wheel at The Cove. If you ever have a chance, do not hesitate.**

Several hours later we arrived at MAR. Mike M. from MAR greeted us with a warm welcome and led us to the spot where we set up our shop for sales, the RTI Ramp challenge, eating, and minimal sleep. Now the fun could begin. With the arrival of Robby our Italian engineer, his wife Jen, and new baby boy, we started to set up the display tent. Five hours later we were open for business.

:Fast Forward 48 Hours:

It was a whirlwind of talking Rover parts, helping with installs, fixing broken trucks, and maybe, just maybe, having a Scotch or 2 or 3 or................ Please Doug E. from Land Rover Lifestyles, no more Scotch. Well, OK. Just a quick one. Things may have gotten out of hand and word on the street or trail, in this case, is there was even time to get branded! That has got to hurt!!

Satruday was the time to give away the trophies and Rover Dog awards. After that the Lucky 8 Store was officially closed.

Finally we had a chance to walk around and meet up with old friends, have a drink or three and listen to the events and stories that occurred on the trails.
It was great seeing everyone again and also meeting new people. We will definitely be in attendance next year. In the meantime, please enjoy some pictures taken by Erik, our October Employee of the Month.
